  • We understand that socializing doesn’t come easy for children. When a child does not know how to relate to their peers or engage appropriately in a normal social situation setting. Social skills group will help guide the child develop the skills to manage day to day life.

The child will learn to gain the basic socialization skills required of them in a small group. Eye contact is extremely hard for most individuals, but over time the child will develop and learn techniques to build social interaction skills ranging from basic skills such as direct eye contact.

We facilitate group sessions where the children practice peer interaction together on group activities and problem-solving tasks. This collaborative learning will foster teamwork, communication, and the ability to respect diverse perspective. The child will learn to contribute ideas to others in a proper manner. This supportive learning environment helps the child feel safe and gain confidence to express themselves.

Conflict resolution skill is important skills set. The child will be guided through problem-solving process, learning to express their needs, how to listen to others, and encourages children to resolve disagreements that occur. Grace and Courtesy are emphasized in our small informal group lessons. Through this, children gain appropriate social and language skills.
